Hi, I'm Roxy.
mother, creative, adventurer
I am a creative artist and storyteller through and through. From experience design to writing and photography – I love to capture and create. I have practised photography for 15+ years as a hobby, but this last year I have opened myself up to photographing families, mothers and women who want to feel cherished and appreciated.
This business was birthed since having my son, Henry. I noticed that myself and many mothers around me lacked raw and candid photos of them, their children and their partners. Selfies, yes, but raw, authentic and emotion-filled photos were missing.
This realisation sparked something inside of me, and I knew that I wanted to start capturing motherhood, maternity and special family moments that reflect the beauty, rawness and unique essence of what it means to be a woman.
I have also been heavily inspired by the beautiful land we live on, and hence, experience and adventure play a huge part in mine and my families life. The most enriching photographs are the ones where people are authentic, raw and in their element and so it is important to me to help recreate that for my clients through adventure and experience.

What makes shooting with me different
exotic locations
I'm an avid lover of the outdoors, and I know that my family and I feel the most at ease and free when we are in nature. This special energy is something that I want to bring to my sessions, and so I have been scouting the perfect locations for our photoshoots from the conception of my business.
From beaches, to forests, to grasslands. Finding the perfect location that represents you and your family helps to encapsulate your energy visually and also enables you to feel connected to the land around you. When you book with me, I provide a curated Central Coast location guide to help make this decision easy and intuitive for you.
WE WORK TOGETHER
My style of photography is a mix of documentary-style storytelling with a hint of editorial in there, too. My experience working with families means that I will help guide you in poses, locations and have fun prompts ready to go so that you and your family feel at ease and comfortable.
This means that I will capture raw, authentic moments of you and your family adventuring and having fun, but also offer instructions on how to pose and where to stand. You will be guided the whole way but will also get the chance to enjoy the location and have some fun exploring.

As a mum myself and a naturally warm and welcoming person, I am skilled at interacting and bonding with kids. Toddlers, older kids or babies - I have experience with them all and have a box of goodies to ensure our sessions go as smoothly as possible. Yes, this includes bubbles!

My intention with these photoshoots is to capture love in it's rawest form. From the moment you book with me, I am centering the experience around the love of you, your partner and your family. I create a warm, open space for you to all feel comfortable and open to express yourself, which translates to beautiful and authentic images.
